3 herbs for the exhausted business witch

🌿🌼 Business is my art, herbs & healing are a huge passion of mine. More and more often herbs, health, nutrition and healing are part of the conversations I have with my 1:1 slow marketing clients.

Because the way you FEEL, is always & indefinitely expressed in your business.

I used to push through a lot of the signals my body gave me, even though I had years of experience listening to her (being diagnosed with fibromyalgia back in 2014, I had to learn at a young age).

And still… looking back I was always pushing through.

That, dear ones… leads to exhaustion and burn-out. I can see how for years I was stuck in some sort of chronic burn-out. Just managing with the energy I had…

It’s only over the last 3 years or so, that I truly learnt to listen. I’m still learning, still listening… because the Bodyverse… as one of my favorite witches @talesofbodyverse calls her… is infinite.

For me, listening to my body goes hand in hand with connecting to the Earth and the wider worlds. 🌍 To the plant spirits and the otherwordly beings…

What I see a lot is that herbs get recommended as a quick solution to burn-out and fatigue. Resulting in comments like ‘it didn’t work’.

Plants, and even plant consitituents, are here to aid you on your journey of becoming conscious. Awakening to all the aspects of life. 🌀

If you don’t tune in, they can’t reveal their healing powers to you fully. You’ll need to slow down, tune in, sit in silence and just… take a break.

Which for some of us is hard enough, as it is in slowing down and silence that traumatic memories and difficult emotions can come up.

How to navigate this is different for all of us, but in the end… it’s all about building the capacity to stay present with all that presents itself.

Now, THAT’s where herbs can support you. 🌿

So, what herbs – generally – might aid you in fatigue… and support you in slowing down and resting?

🌼 Passion Flower

A truly otherwordly flower that helps body & mind to relax, without losing your focus. When taken before bed, passion flower can aid you in sleep. For some people – like me – passion flower does the opposite and keeps you awake with all kinds of interesting dreams. I personally experience antidepressant effects when I work with passion flower tincture. You’ll need to invite her in to discover how she can help you.

🌼 Rhodiola

A popular root that, when taken as a supplement over a period of 4-8 weeks, helps you to become more resilient in stressful situations. Because of this, she can lighten fatigue and works as an antidepressant. I take rhodiola capsules about three months a year, usually during the stormy times of Autumn.

🌼 Magnesium

Not an herb, but an incredibly important mineral that many people are deficient in, even when you have a healthy diet. Magnesium helps you relax, sleep, concentrate and aids many more physical and mental processes. My favorite form is nano magnesium, as it gets absorbed by the body extremely well.
